Zero Damage During Typhoon Season! Shandong Dingyue’s Outdoor Building Materials Help Southeast Asian Resorts Create "Durable Aesthetics"

Recently, a high-end coastal resort in Southeast Asia revealed that after a typhoon passed through, the outdoor landscape project it had just completed—including courtyard wall decorations and boardwalk flooring—remained intact. It is understood that the resort is located near Phuket, Thailand, where it faces perennial climate challenges such as high temperature, high humidity, typhoons, and heavy rains—placing extremely high demands on the "weather resistance" and "impact resistance" of building materials. • The former has passed CE-certified "1000-hour UV aging test" (color fading rate < 3%) and "72-hour continuous rain test" (no blistering), enabling it to withstand the strong ultraviolet rays, typhoons, and heavy rains on the island;

• The latter has passed SGS anti-slip testing (friction coefficient ≥ 0.6) and impact resistance testing (no damage when a 1kg weight falls from a height of 1m). Even with frequent foot traffic from tourists, it is not easy to wear, and it completely solves the pain point of traditional solid wood—"rotting when exposed to moisture".

"After the typhoon, we inspected the site and found no cracks on the wall panels, no deformation of the flooring, and even almost no color change," the project manager added. "What’s more surprising is that the installation efficiency of Dingyue’s materials is 70% higher than that of traditional building materials. Coupled with the fact that no frequent maintenance is needed afterward, the overall decoration cost has been reduced by 45%."

Currently, the order volume of Shandong Dingyue’s outdoor building materials in the Southeast Asian market has increased by 51% year-on-year. In addition to resorts, high-end villa projects in Malaysia and Indonesia have also successively adopted its products.
